It’s clear that The Agility Company was on to something when choosing their brand colors in 2020. And, Pantone, a leading color product and service provider, was riding the same wavelength.
Each year the company chooses a “Color of the Year” that embodies current trends and lifestyles. In choosing this color, they factor in current forms of entertainment, fashion, design, technology, social media, large events, and more.
For 2021, Pantone chose a color combination to illuminate both strength and positivity: Pantone’s Ultimate Gray and Illuminating.
Maybe it is simply understanding the knowledge of trends or recognizing the innate power of these colors, but Agility uses a very similar look to represent their brand. Moreover, even the reasoning Pantone provides behind their Color of the Year emphasizes Agility’s simple goals in supporting their customers. Pantone writes “Ultimate Gray is emblematic of solid and dependable elements which are everlasting and provide a firm foundation.” It’s this exact dependability that Agility provides for their customers and achieves in their products. Pantone also writes “Illuminating is a bright and cheerful yellow sparkling with vivacity.” Similarly, representing Agility in their fresh outlook and innovative designs.
2016 was the first year that Pantone chose to pair two shades to complete their soft messaging aimed at equality and social blurs. This year, the logic for choosing two colors reflects the connectedness between the pair, once again mirroring the relationship that Agility possesses with its dealers. Pantone understands their 2021 combination as “two independent colors that highlight how different elements come together to support one another.”
Continuing to add: “a combination of color whose ties to insight, innovation and intuition, and respect for wisdom, experience, and intelligence inspires regeneration, pressing us forward toward new ways of thinking and concepts.”
